Events – The Great Race & Team Building

The Queenstown Great race is a non politically correct self guided introduction to Queenstown in teams of between 4 to 8 people. What better introduction to Queenstown for your clients and workmates. Test their group dynamics as they race around Queenstown in a quest for personal pride and to learn about working together.

Its about challenges and working as a team.  In my approach finishing is victory, regardless of what place your team takes. So while it is a RACE where first past the post has meaning. That is mainly to create pressure to complete the challenges. A mix of orienteering, adventure  challenges and essentially team work. However you play the game – play it FAST!

Its best done at the start of a conference as it breaks down barriers and personal space. Improving the group dynamics for the remainder of your time in Queenstown. There is both a town and a country version.

Includes all team material, marshals, consents and organisation. The courses are varied dependant upon time, season, budget  and numbers. All the challenges are achievable with team work. Each event includes a power point presentation of photos taken on the day and awards (but not prizes) to those who as individuals and teams have distinguished themselves on the day whether by fair or foolish means.
